Come aboard our restored vintage railcars for a carefree journey through the spectacular scenery of mid-coast Maine, between Brunswick and Rockland.
You’ll experience charming seaside villages, picturesque sailboats, lobstermen working their traps on the bay, tidewater wildlife and in autumn, magnificent foliage.
Service begins in May and will continue through the fall, with special holiday trains in December. Service operates Wednesday through Sunday.
Maine Eastern Railroad - Excursion Train Rail service to the towns of Brunswick, Bath, Wiscasset, and Rockland Maine. We provide service for the Lobster Train to the Lobsterfest in Rockland, Maine. Our Maine coastal rail service begins in May and runs through October 2009. Along the Maine Coast you will find lighthouses, sailing schooners, whale watch tours, lobster dinners, family fun, and family travel. The Farnsworth Museum is minutes from our station in Rockland as is shopping, dining, lodging in hotels, motels, inns, bed & breakfasts.
