Frank X. Gallagher, a pioneer in the transportation industry founded the company in 1934. From the outset he realized that getting people to their destination was only one facet of the business. Our fleet of deluxe, interstate coaches feature large, tinted windows that allow you “the big view” of the landscape from high above traffic levels. Relax in deep cushioned recliners in the super quiet, climate controlled interior. The coaches offer public address systems, stereo music, onboard video, clean restrooms, plenty of storage in overhead and under coach compartments, individual reading lights, and climate controls.
Your coach driver is a primary key to providing a smooth trip. Our drivers are selected and trained for the qualities that make them superior charter operators.
They have a vast knowledge of highways and byways as well as the ins and outs of distant places throughout the country. Equipped with our computer generated mapping instructions you can be sure they will zip you straight to your destination.

Leprechaun’s safety record is unsurpassed in the industry. We enjoy the highest safety rating granted by the Federal Department of Transportation and the United States Department of Defense. Each coach passes a thorough inspection every 6 months by the New York State Department of Transportation. Additionally, our preventative maintenance schedule is the most comprehensive in the industry.
Our full time Safety Director has over 36 years of experience in law enforcement and driver education. He strictly monitors the safety program, ensuring that the coaches are in tip top shape, as well as continually updating our drivers’ training. This program has been nationally recognized for its innovation and thoroughness.
Leprechaun is at the forefront of technology by utilizing “Trip Master” on–board computers. Data collected from the coaches daily, provides management with precise information on our drivers activity throughout your trip.
With an average age of 5 years, Leprechaun maintains one of the youngest fleets in the industry. Through our leadership role in industry associations we maintain a network of affiliated motorcoach carriers throughout the country. From Boston to Florida to San Diego to Seattle and the miles in between we have the contacts to keep your trip running smoothly.
