Changing the way the world travels...
Daniel's Charters began in 1995 as a family vacation. Jimmy Cantrell bought an old bus and remodeled it with seats, beds, and a kitchen. The family went out on a ten day "Out West" vacation, traveling to Texas, Arizona, Colorado, destination GRAND CANYON. After the vacation, the bus was used to transport the youth to church camp. The next year, a large group of people wanted to go on the "Cantrell Out-West" vacation. To accomodate so many people, Jimmy bought a newer bus. As the need for the bus grew, so did the need for forming a business.
In 1998, Jimmy and his brother Rickey formed "Daniel's Charters". Rickey's mechanical abilities and body work experience worked well with Jimmy's sense of business, so a partnership was formed.
The brothers' desire to be as faithful to God in their work as Daniel was is not only the namesake of the business, but a living testimony. In a few short years, Daniel's Charters has grown from one bus to a fleet. With God's help, we will continue to be faithful.
In 2006, we received the United Motor Coach Association's Vision Award. This award is presented to companies that embody the vision to lead our industry into the future and raise the standards for operators everywhere.
