For the few of us who remember the excitement of train travel or for those who have wondered about what it must have been like to travel by train through our beautifully scenic country, the opportunity to experience that romantic era is now once again attainable.


Cruising by Rail provides the opportunity to experience the excitement and luxury of private railcar travel, with several Scheduled Trips planned each year to various locations in the U.S. and Canada. We also offer the opportunity to Charter our rail cars to a location of your choice. You can relax and enjoy the scenery in your private railcar as the train races across the landscape to your destination. Experience part of history, as you make your own!

Cruising by Rail (CbR) offers four timeless rail cars for private charter. Each one of our cars has a unique style and character. In addition to our Cars for Charter, CbR has access to a variety of other private rail cars, making any size trip very possible. Chartering a private car can make any event, a memorable one. CbR can take you to virtually any location serviced by the Amtrak system. Whether you want:
